الموارنه
الموارنه (بالسريانيه: ܡܪܘܢܝܐ, مارونايي), Maronites هيا مجموعه دينيه فى سواحل بلاد الشام و خاصه فى لبنان و بتتبع الكنيسه المارونيه, بترجع تسميتهم لمار مارون الراهب السريانى اللى عاش فى شمال سوريافىالقرن الرابع و نقل اتباعه بعدها لجبل لبنان. الموارنه قدرو يحافظو على كيان شبه مستقلفىفترة الخلافه الامويه و العباسيه و حافظو على ديانتهم المسيحيه و لغتهم السريانيه لحد القرن التلاتاشر لما قدر المماليك يخضعوهم, سيطر الموارنه بعدها على متصرفيه جبل لبنان العثمانيه بالقرن التسعتاشر و جمهوريه لبنان الكبير برعايه دول أوروبيه, بس بسبب هجره أعداد كبيره منهم و الحرب الاهليه اللبنانيه اتقلص عددهم بشكل كبير و دلوقتى بيشكلو حوالى ربع عدد سكان لبنان.
