  • English: No. 2990. 100 years since the birth of Yu.V. Knorozov (C.E.1922-1999), scientist, historian, ethnographer, founder of the Soviet school of Mayan studies. The stamp on the left presents Mayan hieroglyphs from Temple XVIII in Palenque (Cyapas, Mexico), see their images together (starting with the fifth hieroglyph on the left in the second row at the top) from the Palenque Archaeological Museum, as well as their images separately, for example, in the Temple XVIII section Mathews, The bodega of Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, C.E.1979, ISBN 9780884020851.
