الكاهن الاكبر للإله بتاح او اعظم اسياد الحرفيين بالمصريه القديمه يعتبر راعى و حامى للحرفيين.[1] و فيه مقر كاهن بتاح الاكبر فى منف عاصمة مصر فى الدوله القديمه و كان للإله معبد ضخم مكرس ليه فى المنطقه دى مع زوجته الإلهه سخمت و ابنهم الإله نفرتم و التلاته اسمهم ثالوث منف.[2]
جرت العاده على وجود كاهنين كبيرين للإله بتاح مع بعض حتى الاسره السادسه , و يمكن فى عهد بيبى الاول اللى قرر دمج المنصبين فى منصب واحد . "[3]
كان شايع بالنسبه للكاهن الاكبر يحمل لقب تانى هوا «كاهن سم الخاص بالإله بتاح» , و ممكن التعرف على الكاهن فى الحاله دى بانه كان بيلبس شعر مستعار قصير مع خصله جانبيه و كان يلبس جلد الفهد.
